The sensor in our digital cameras exagerates light and dark areas of every image
compared to what our eyes see.
This can have a profound effect when taking flash pictures.
Flash pictures tend to have very harsh shadows. These shadows are especially
noticeable on pictures of people, but also show up noticeably on inanimate objects
- such as flowers, still-lifes, on-line auction pictures, etc.
We use the Mini Softbox to whenever taking pictures of people indoors or outdoors.
It's especially useful outdoors as it helps fill in the harsh shadows that the sun
can create without creating any of it's own shadows, making pictures of poeple much
more natural looking.
This Mini Softbox has a silver-reflective surface inside to help intensify the light
but diffuses the light with the milky-white difusser allowing you maximum shooting
distance. It also folds up to
an incredibly small 3 1/2" x 4" x 1/2" and fits
every flash unit that we've tried from all of the major manufactures. It attaches
securely to your flash unit by means of a tight-elastic band. You don't
need to attach Velcro or make any changes to your flash unit. If you
